is a tour operator company that offers services in various types of
expeditions
throughout Patagonian Chile and Argentina. We
have worked in Patagonia since 1999,
offering a wide variety of
services, including: trekking, mountaineering and sea kayaking tours.
Our
expeditions trips, in their majority,
are composed of small groups enabling us to give our clients the best
and most
exclusive service. We have specialized
guides to accompany you in your experience of the breath-taking
Patagonia. We suggest dates for some
excursions, but
you can also arrange a personalized schedule to suit your needs and

Local
guides provide you with an
incomparable experience with their knowledge of the region, culture,
and
friendship, making your expedition more enjoyable.
Our
Equipment.
We care
about the quality of our
equipment. Below, there is a small
description about brands and models of some of our mountain equipment
that brings
us safety on high mountain trips and windy conditions.
Food.
Our
meals are varied and well
chosen. Fresh and delicious food is
always available on our trips. Vegetables,
fruit, meat, chicken and
even fish are among our menu items;
as well as pastas, rice, and potatoes that are rich in carbohydrates. Extra items include wine, coke, beer,
biscuits, cheese, and crackers; everything we need to make our trip
pleasant.
Mules
and horses.
We can
provide services to carry gear; with
the friendship of “baqueanos” (cowboys), who provide us with mules and
horses
that will carry heavy equipment if needed.
Porters.
We can
provide you with a porter if
requested. They will provide you with
extra help in carrying your gear on any of our trips in Patagonia.
Hotels.
For
your customized trip, together we can
choose the best and most cozy places to stay in Puerto Natales, as well
as in
Calafate and Chalten.
Park
fees.
All of
our itineraries include the park
entrance fee.
Transportation.
In our
expeditions we use 4x4 pick-up
trucks and minibuses for ground transportation depending on the road
conditions.
Departures.
In all
of our trips, we organize departure
according to your preference.
Travel
Insurance.
Each season, a handful of clients have
to cancel their trips at the last
minute due to unforeseen circumstances such as flight delays or
cancellations,
illness or injury. For this reason
Paine Trekking highly recommends the purchase of travel insurance
